General sports massage is used to mitigate and recover from sports injuries. It is customized and focused on the client’s needs (for pre- or post-event, full or partial body areas). It extends to anyone that participates in sports or is recovering from an orthopaedic condition. Its focus is to improve circulation to the injured area, reduce pain, inflammation and tension. Sports massage is meant to increase elasticity, range of motion and aid the body in healing for safe and effective movement. Various techniques and tools are used, such as IASTM, static and dynamic cupping, stretching, Hypervolt massager, Kinesio taping per client’s soft tissue needs. VAT is included.
